These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Simi Construction Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide a wide range of construction and home improvement services, including but not limited to:
- General construction, roofing, plastering, electrical installation, plumbing, carpentry, brickwork, painting and decorating, landscaping, extensions, loft conversions, bespoke carpentry, tiling, and certification for gas and electricity;
- Sub-services such as drain maintenance, pressure washing, and installation of electric car chargers;
2. Quotations and Acceptance
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated;
- Acceptance of a quotation must be in writing via email or signed agreement;
- Any variations to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may affect pricing;
3. Payments
- Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or contract;
- We may require a deposit prior to commencement of work;
- Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise agreed in writing;
4. Cancellation and Changes
- Any cancellation or changes to the project must be communicated in writing;
- Fees may apply for cancellations or significant changes, especially after work has commenced;
5. Client Responsibilities
- Providing access to the property and necessary utilities;
- Ensuring all permits, consents, or approvals are obtained unless agreed otherwise;
- Communicating any specific requirements or constraints prior to project commencement;
6. Warranties and Liability
- We guarantee workmanship for a reasonable period; details will be provided in individual project contracts;
- We are not liable for damage caused by client negligence or events beyond our control, including natural disasters;
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, plans, and content provided by Simi Construction Ltd remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
